Pacer Madness event kicks off upcoming basketball season

The Pacer Madness event allowed fans of the team a sneak peek of the upcoming season.

The superhero themed event was held at the convocation center on October 8th. The dance and cheer teams performed, while fans enjoyed free Chick-fil-a.

Junior Cierra Wilson said, “It was fun and interesting, but it should have had the athletes do something for entertainment also.”

Prizes were given out throughout the night for competitions and giveaways.

“It was well organized and entertaining,” said senior Alaine Sullivan. “The activities were engaging and the student support made for a lively atmosphere.”
