An open letter to Nicki Minaj

An open letter to Nicki Minaj

Dear Onika Tanya Maraj,

What are you doing, my love? Instead of celebrating the release of your highly anticipated album "Queen," you are throwing a tantrum on Twitter.

"Queen" is a project you spent three years working on. Instead of letting the music speak for itself, you are speaking way too much. Just tweeting yourself into a hole.

Whoever this woman is, she is not the Nicki Minaj who told us “First things first, I’ll eat your brains. Then Imma start rockin’ gold teeth and fangs," in the song "Monster." It isn’t even your song that you rocked on. It was another rapper's (but everyone skips straight to your verse).

I understand. You were running with no competition for several years; nobody was around to challenge you and so you have gotten complacent. But now ma'am, you need to really show us why you are Queen. Queens don’t need twitter to address peasants.

With much love,

A concerned fan
