IMPACT to host supply drive for local shelter

USC Aiken’s volunteer organization, IMPACT, is holding a supply drive from April 1-12, to collect items for the Cumbee Center in Aiken.

The Cumbee Center is an emergency shelter, that provides help for women and children who have been victims of domestic violence, as well as assisting victims of sexual assault. It provides housing, counseling, workshops and other services to those in need.

IMPACT is collecting body wash, hair products, deodorant, pajamas, underwear, diapers, wipes, socks, wash cloths, hand soap, DVDs, pillows, towels, coffee, cleaning supplies, sanitizer, detergent and other similar products.

Those interested in donating to the supply drive may bring items to the Student Life Office in the Student Activities Center. For more information, contact the staff adviser of IMPACT, Kevin Nolan (kevinn@usca.edu).
