South Carolinian athlete incites deadly shooting rampage
A sixth person has died following a South Carolina shooting rampage last week by Phillip Adams, a former NFL player.
The sixth victim was Robert Shook, a 38-year-old air conditioning technician working in the home of a Rock Hill physician, Robert Lesslie.
Lesslie, his wife Barbara and their two grandchildren Adah and Noah were previously killed in the shooting, as well as another air conditioning technician, James Lewis, who was also working at their home.
Adams later died by suicide, and his brain is now being examined for a degenerative disease called chronic traumatic encephalopathy that could’ve caused violent tendencies.
This is a disease that has been found in a great number of athletes as it is a result of multiple blows to the head. As of right now, there are no updates from a CTE scan that indicates his erratic behavior.
