Come Out To Major Speed Dating!

Major speed dating will allow students to connect with others and discuss their majors. This event will not only be for those with decided majors, but it’s inviting those who are undecided and need a little bit of help coming to a final decision.

The gist of the event will involve select students that give information about their major and will ask questions when needed. Undecided students can go around exploring the different options. The only twist is that it’ll be timed, like speed dating.

Will Javis is also an undecided student and had a word of advice for students who could come in as undecided.

“Do your research so you can find what you’re interested in…even if you don’t have your major, at least have an idea of what you want to go into. Like if you want to go into nursing, look into that and make sure you take classes that will actually relate to nursing.”

Major speed dating will occur at 6 p.m. in the SAC Mezz. There will be light refreshments, and all students are encouraged to come.
