Is Avril Lavigne the same pop star that gave the world hits like “Sk8r Boi” and “Girlfriend” in the early 2000s, or has she been changed with a look-alike?

Many theorists believe Avril was swapped out with a woman named Melissa Vandella. The theory is mixed on why she would have her doppelganger take over, but some of the possibilities are that the fame got to be too much, she died, or she needed a break after her grandfather’s death.

Fans have noticed a difference in Avril’s facial features like her nose, lips and eyes. Could this be because there is an imposter in Avril’s place? Or could it be from plastic surgery and aging?
