Bang For Your Buck
The cost of college is a common topic of discussion, especially among college students themselves and those who did or plan to attend.
It’s been proven time and time again that USC Aiken is affordable compared to others. But does cheaper tuition mean that everyone should attend? Is the experience in Aiken not too far from a more expensive university? For that reason and many others that come with it, I’ll say yes.
Along with affordable tuition, we are a smaller school. This means that classes are smaller and make it easier for students to form closer connections with teachers, leading to better grades.
Our school gives the same opportunities, in some cases more, that one would get from a more expensive campus. We have the same clubs, and if there isn’t one here, there’s a similar one. The food on campus is above average, except for us not having a Chick Fil A. However, students do have the opportunity to purchase Chick Fil A sandwiches, spicy or regular, along with their complementary sauce right here on campus. There are many opportunities for students, on-campus jobs, and ways to get involved; there’s really something for everyone.
