"Ginny & Georgia" Review
The new season of “Ginny & Georgia” left a memorable impression on its audience.
Season two was released onto Netflix on Jan. 5, 2023, and it was definitely different than the first one. If I had to describe this new season in three words, it would be: educational, funny and cringy. Overall, I preferred this new season to the first.
This season showed and discussed a lot about mental health, not just in teenagers but also in adults. It talked about PTSD, panic attacks, self-harming and depression. However, unlike other shows, it felt more realistic.
The first couple episodes were going at a good pace, and the plot was answering questions that I had from the first season. However, the last couple episodes got dramatic and intense. I felt stressed from the situations happening, yet I couldn’t stop watching.
Even though some characters were annoying, I still enjoyed this season. And for those who are wanting to watch it I am giving a trigger warning, because it showed self-harming, people struggling with mental disorders and domestic violence.
