How To: Have a Romantic and Affordable Valentine's Day!
Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and as college students, we are always looking for affordable ways to show our love.
Here are some romantic ideas for this special day:
Movie night! Walmart has a $5 movie section and affordable snacks. A great date is to go with your person, pick out a movie and some snacks together. However, if you don’t have a way to play DVDs, the two of you can each pick out a movie on a streaming platform, and then randomly pick between the two movies. This is such a romantic and cheap way to spend V-Day.
Handwritten cards. Sitting down and writing cards to each other while eating some snacks is a great and romantic way to spend time with your person. This way when you both are finished writing, you can see the reaction the other person has to your card.
Cooking dinner together. Pinterest has many easy and cheap recipes for you to do with your partner. Some fan favorites include any type of pasta, lemon pepper chicken and tacos.
Picnic. There are many places to walk around and eat food in Aiken. The most popular place is Hopeland Garden. This idea allows you and your partner to get out of the house and enjoy the peacefulness of Aiken.
