Female Cross Country Athlete: Madison Hart
Cross-country athlete Madison Hart shared her experiences of falling in love with the sport.
Hart, a sophomore at USCA, has been running for as long as she can remember. She stated that her mother was also a runner in high school and college and that she believed that her mom’s love for running got passed down to her.
Hart decided to run for USCA, because she enjoys the locations for running, and the times she met with Coach Lauren.
“I could tell she was very educated on the human body as a runner/athlete,” Hart described Coach Lauren. “I could trust her to me help improve my abilities as a runner.”
When asked about what her favorite sports experience was, she stated that it was meeting Liv. That she was another female drummer who joined the team with her. Since both join the USCA team, they practice and race together.
“I genuinely believe that the best thing to come out of sports is the bonds you make along the way,” Hart said.
