On February 28 USC AIken’s NAACP chapter held a silent protest against gun violence against African Americans.
On Mar. 1 the Department of Diversity Initiatives held an Inter-Curricular Enrichment “ICE” event “She is Beautiful When She is Angry: The History of the Women’s Liberation Movement”.
The USC Aiken Student Support Group began in 2022. It is an organization that gives college students the opportunity to express their emotions and relieve some of the pressures at school.

The Student Activities Center Café (SAC Café) is one of the four dining services at USC Aiken. They have an option of Late Night Grill available to students Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8:30 – 11:00 p.m. to buy what is on the menu for that day.
The annual career fair at USC Aiken is being held Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Activities Center (SAC) Gym.
Dr. Melencia Johnson is a sociology professor at USC Aiken and teaches various courses including Sociology of Delinquent Youth Behavior and Sociology of Black Experience.

The Confident Unique Regal Leading Society (C.U.R.L.S) became an official student organization at USC Aiken in 2011. The organization’s initiative is to encourage African American students to embrace their natural hair texture.
Student Body President Erica Bennett and Vice President Judson Pickett were officially sworn in on Jan. 23.
Dr. Sarah King has made her mark on students and staff on the USCA campus in sharing her love for history and teaching bits of knowledge that she’s gained
