Season in Review: How did Pacers fare last semester?
Baseball: The USCA baseball team did not have games during the fall 2021 semester. They will open this season at home on Feb. 11 against Florida Southern College.
Men’s Basketball: During the fall semester, the USCA men’s basketball team went 9-5. They are currently 12-6 (6-2 in the conference) with big wins over Allen University, Clayton State and Young Harris.
Women’s Basketball: During the fall semester, the USCA women’s basketball team went 3-7 and are currently 7-9 (3-5 in the conference) with big wins over Emmanuel College, Shaw University and Georgia College.
Golf: Halfway through their season, the USCA golf team has eight top-5 placements within 10 days of playing. Each competition consists of two days. At the Kiawah Island Invitational, the golf team placed fifth and tied for second, placed third and third at the Camden Collegiate, earned first and second at the Queens Invitational, received second and fourth at the Southern Tide Invitational and at the Daniel Island Invitational they tied for eighth and 12th. The Pacers return to action Feb. 21-22 for the Wexford Invitational in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Men’s Cross-Country: Across six competitions, the USCA men’s cross-country team placed seventh (UNG Invitational), 25th (Converse Kick-Off), ninth (Koala XC Classic), fifth (Georgia College Invitational), seventh (PBC Championship) and 23rd (NCAA Southeast Regional Championship).
Women’s Cross-Country: Ninth (UNG Invitational), 21st (Converse Kick-Off), 11th (Koala XC Classic), 10th (Georgia College Invitational), ninth (PBC Championship) and 23rd (NCAA Southeast Regional Championship).
Men’s Soccer: The USCA men’s soccer team went 2-14 (1-11 in the conference) last fall, defeating Newberry College and North Georgia College.
Women’s Soccer: The USCA women’s soccer team went 3-11-1 (2-6-1 in the conference) defeating Belmont Abbey, Albany State and Georgia College.
Softball: The USCA Softball team did not have games during the fall 2021 semester but will be in action again on Feb. 5 at home versus Tusculum University.
Volleyball: The USCA volleyball team went 18-9 (6-4 in the conference). They made it all the way to the PBC Tournament semifinals.
Spirit Squad: The USCA spirit squad has done well this season, going 11-3 with wins over Lander, Clayton State and Young Harris. They have a matchup coming up against Georgia College on Feb. 9.
