Organization of the Week: Campus Outreach
Campus Outreach has created a community at USCA to build students’ relationships with God.
This organization isn’t just on our campus but throughout the United States. Their vision is to glorify God by building laborers on the campus for the lost world. They believe that this will allow students to leave college equipped to spread the word of God to others.
Jackson Steed, a senior and the president of CO, has been a member of this organization for going on 3 years. He stated that one of his favorite parts about being a part of CO has been the people.
“They are all super cool, and they generally care,”
When asked to describe the organization in three words, Steed replied with fun, meaningful, and Christian. He also stated that CO has given students many opportunities and resources to learn and grow their faith.
“My favorite experience has to be Student Leadership Project…There were so many people willing to take time out of their day to make sure that everyone was doing good and teaching us about faith.”
They also have events throughout the semester to bring students together on top of their weekly meetings. They are hosting an ICE event at the planetarium this Tuesday at 7 p.m.
For those interested, they meet Thursdays at 4 p.m. in the H&SS building room 103. Also, feel free to reach out to one of their many nonstudent leaders.
