Staff Spotlight: David Strother
David Strother is from Lumberton, North Carolina
Strother attended UNC Pembroke for four years and played on the basketball team for three seasons. After his senior year, he made a move to Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA and eventually came over to attend USC Aiken.
In his career, he’s had positive experiences and is somewhat of a good luck charm wherever he goes.
In his three years at UNC Pembroke, he appeared in 94 games and scored 1,064 points
Appeared in 13 contests at Old Dominion
Played in 29 games while attending USC Aiken, starting in 28 of them and earning an average of 14 points per game
During this time he earned two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Mass Communications and public relations and the second in Coaching and Leadership.
Currently, Strother is the Director of Player Development. With his position, he’s able to help players build strengths through workouts and can provide personal knowledge.
