On Wed. Mar. 13 the university’s dining services hosted “Chef’s Takeover.” Chef’s Takeover was an event that brought in chefs from other universities to share their signature dishes.
Representing USC Aiken was chef Daniel Keegan. Keegan is a native of Peurto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and has been with the university since Jan. 2023.
Chef Tonya hails from the College of Charleston and has a career that spans over 30 years.
Chef Kyle Hinton is the current Culinary Director for the University of South Carolina. In this position, he leads a team of 12 chefs.
Chef Ralph Macrina represents Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. Macrina currently serves as the executive chef and is a member of the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas Hospitality Education Advisory Committee.
