USCA v. Kennesaw State marks the end of Peach Belt Conference
USCA's Overwatch team competed in the Peach Belt Conference tournament on Friday, Oct. 30.
The team faced off against Kennesaw State University in the first round of gameplay. The first map of the match took place on Ilios, a control map. The first stage took place on the Well section of the map. After Kennesaw State successfully secured the point, the teams moved on to the Lighthouse section of the map. Kennesaw State was once again able to capture the point, defeating USCA on the first map.
For the second map of the best of three, USCA and Kennesaw State traveled to Dorado, a payload map. The match began with USCA on defense. Unable to defend the payload during the allotted time, Kennesaw State fully captured it. While on offense, USCA was unable to do the same, losing the game and being eliminated from the tournament.
USCA will shift from Overwatch to League of Legends in the spring semester.
