Paige Talks Television: "Only Murders in the Building"

Hulu’s new mystery/comedy, “Only Murders in the Building” starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez is set in a beautiful Manhattan apartment building and revolves around true crime podcast obsessed characters and neighbors.

In the first episode, one of the residents in the building, Tim Kono, dies, and while the police rule it a suicide, three residents in the building who believe Tim Kono had been murdered take it upon themselves to investigate. They start their own true crime podcast to document their investigation as they look into who Tim Kono was and who would have possibly wanted to murder him.

For a comedy heavy mystery, this show has a ton of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The three main characters, Charles, Oliver and Mabel, have depth and are sympathetic, so you spend the entirety of the show rooting for them. The show ends on a huge cliffhanger. I can’t wait to see what next season’s mystery will bring and how the gang will get themselves out of the mess they end up in.

I went into this show with fairly low expectations, but thoroughly enjoyed it and stayed up all night watching it. I highly recommend it, and Pacer Times would love to hear your theories on that cliffhanger!
