Everyday Makeup Routine
Many people believe doing their makeup is so difficult but in reality, it isn’t.
To start off you want to have a good base. Remember to always make sure to prep your face, this can be pre-washing your face with a cleanser, toning with witch hazel and then adding a moisturizing face lotion.
After you’ve prepped your face I’d recommend priming your face with a primer but this is optional.
Now that your base is set and ready it’s makeup time.
To start off you only need a few products for an everyday makeup look. The products include a brow pomade or pencil, concealer, highlight, blush, setting powder, mascara and setting spray.
The first step is to fill in those brows to your liking whether that's thin or thick brows. After filling them in, brush them out with a spoolie brush.
Now that your brows are done.
Grab a concealer that is 99.9% close to your skin complexion
Apply the concealer to the areas where you may have dark spots or uneven marks. Always remember to let the concealer sit for at least a minute for full coverage.
Then go in with a beauty blender or a flat brush to blend out the concealer to the specific spots and marks.
Third step is a bright undereye.
Grab a concealer that is one to five shades lighter than you depending on how light you prefer your under eyes
Go in with the concealer under your eye and let it sit for a minute. Then blend it out with a beauty blender or flat brush.
The next step is to always set your under eyes so you don’t have any creasing.
Go in with a setting powder similar to your skin complexion.
So for my more fair skin people go in with a translucent powder, for medium skin people use a yellow banana powder, and those with darker skin, go in with a banana deep powder.
Use a separate beauty blender specifically for the setting powder and apply the powder under your eye. Let the powder sit for up to 5 minutes then brush the excess powder off with a powder brush.
Now that you’re halfway done.
grab a highlight and blush.
Those with lighter skin tones use a silver type of highlight and darker skin use a gold type of highlight.
For blush, lighter skin tones use light pinks, medium skin tones use peaches and darker pinks while darker skin tones use reds, darker pinks, and reddish-orange.
When applying the highlighter, use your finger and dab it on the middle of your nose and the sides of your cheeks. For blush grab a blush brush and dab it in an upward motion on your cheeks and nose.
For the last two steps grab your favorite type of mascara and brush those eyelashes to your liking. Once that’s done use your favorite setting spray and set your face. Then you’re ready for the day!
