Things To Do In Myrtle Beach
Although many tourists call my hometown “Dirty Myrtle” it really isn’t as bad as it seems.
There are so many things to do and try in the city of Myrtle Beach. Many tourists don’t know there are many outskirts around Myrtle Beach such as North Myrtle Beach and Little River. I’ve provided a list of different restaurants, activities and areas to go to and experience hidden gems of Myrtle Beach coming from a local.
Pho Claire
This is a Vietnamese restaurant with a very minimalistic aesthetic. It includes great authentic Vietnamese cuisines such as pho, summer rolls, boba and wonton soup. Great customer service and decent prices.
Broadway At The Beach
This is a popular tourist spot that is basically like an outlet. There are stores from It’s Sugar, Build-A-Bear and Ron Jon Surf Shop. The outlet also has restaurants such as Fat Tuesdays, Hard Rock Café and Yamato. Lastly, having entertainment such as Dave and Busters.
Myrtle Waves
This is one of the two water parks in Myrtle Beach; the second is farther south of Myrtle Beach in Surfside Beach. The waterpark has multiple slides for your family and you to have a great time.
•Vereen Gardens
This is one of my favorite spots. I’ve been going here ever since I was a child. It is located in Little River, a nature walk with natural wetlands and nature trails.
•Market Commons
In Downtown Myrtle Beach close to Garden City is a little area called Market Commons which gives Charleston vibes with little shops such as acai bowls, boba tea and shopping stores. A great place to go with your family to bowl or watch a movie at the theater.
•The Boulevard
The boulevard has great day or nightlife. It’s a strip with different stores such as Ripley's Maze Museum, Riptydz Oceanfront Rooftop Bar and Grille and has an arcade.
